Honoring a Legacy of Excellence: Celebrating Our Retiring Faculty (Goal: $4000)

As we look toward the future of the MIS and MSCM programs, we pause to celebrate the incredible careers of two long-time faculty members who are embarking on their next chapter: retirement. For decades, their teaching, research, and service have shaped the careers of countless Vikings, turning the classroom into a launchpad for industry leaders. To honor their enduring impact, we invite our alumni community to share your favorite memories, photos, and stories at the links below.

Building the Pipeline: The DSCI High School Scholarship (Goal: $2000)

The future of data science starts long before the first day of college. To ensure WWU continues to attract the most ambitious and curious minds, we are launching a new DSCI Scholarship specifically for incoming high school students. This initiative allows our alumni to play a direct role in recruiting the next generation of data-driven decision makers, providing the financial spark needed to turn a high schooler’s interest into a lifelong career. By contributing to this fund, you are helping us reach talented students early, ensuring that the Decision Sciences programs remain a premier destination for top-tier talent.
