Funding Priorities
This year, we have defined several exciting initiatives that will support our MSCM/OPS students, faculty, and programs. Please donate today to advance the following opportunities for "MSCM & Operations" at WWU:
MSCM/OPS Scholarships – GOAL: $20,000
For the 2025-26 academic year, the MSCM/Ops program gave over $71,000 of scholarship support and there were still more students to be supported. Scholarships provide necessary funding for students to complete their degree with low or no loan debt. Support MSCM/OPS students to assist in their education and managing the challenges in life. These scholarships will continue our tradition of rewarding hard work and providing a way for talented students to excel in their degrees and careers. We are seeking $20,000 for merit and need-based scholarships.
Case Competitions - GOAL $5,000
This year, our MSCM/OPS students participated in the Boeing Northwest Case Competition. Team Phantom Workers won the competition. Members of the team were Ian Barron, Jackson Hardy, Rose Gendel, Carver Johnson and Sam Nocera; all except Rose are MSCM students.
Boeing Northwest Case Competition WinnersOur students also participated in the National Association of State Procurement Officials NASPO Case Competition. Team members were: Jackson Hardy, Kenyon Woodley, Sam Nocera and Haley Luther.

For the coming academic year, we are working with many companies, including Boeing, Starbucks and Fastenal, to create more case competition opportunities for our students.
ASCM Student Chapter Events and Connect Conference – GOAL: $5,000

We have always had a dedicated and highly professional ASCM Student Chapter that organizes speakers, workshops, social events, volunteer activities, professional development dinners, and attendance at the ASCM Connect Annual Meeting & World Congress. Please give to expand our student engagement and achieve our goal.

Alumni Engagement and Professional Development Events – GOAL: $5,000
Alumni Engagement Event organized by Brianna Chang (MSCM Alum) in BellevueHelp our students and faculty develop networking opportunities and maintain connections with alumni and industry partners through social and professional events. These funds will sponsor Alumni Reunion events in the greater Seattle area and support case competitions, facility tours, conversation hours, and networking dinners with speakers and panelists in our Operations Management courses and MSCM Information Sessions.
