Student Research at the Cutting Edge
Cutting-edge scientific research and technology development, led collaboratively between faculty and students, is a hallmark of Western Washington University's STEM programs. Students at Western lead research projects, publish in prestigious journals, and present their research by giving talks at national and international conferences. Your gift to the Student Research Fund enables us to increase the impact of grant- and foundation-funded research involving students by supporting student conference travel, student research awards, and student-led research project costs.
Dean's Fund
Gifts to the Dean’s fund enable us to respond to emergent needs and opportunities in support of students and faculty across the College of Science and Engineering. Examples include real-time support of student- and faculty-led initiatives, matching funds to enable acquisition of advanced research equipment, and seed grant money to enable the development of new academic programs and community partnerships.
