We are excited to announce that in Fall 2022, the College of Business and Economics will launch a new Professional and Career Readiness program that includes two classes on Career and Professional Readiness. One class will be taken at the start of each student’s time in the College of Business and will focus on resume preparation, interviewing skills, professional networking, internships, and “meet the professional” events. The second class will be geared toward seniors and will focus on learning from professional-oriented activities and career planning beyond graduation.
The Impact of Your Support
Your gift to the CBE Professional and Career Readiness Fund will help us to launch this program and ensure all students have the information, access to resources and opportunities to prepare for their careers in this way. Our goal is to raise $4,000. Donations of any size are welcome and appreciated!
Donation Matching
All donations made during this year's WWU Give Day will be matched in some way:
- The first $1,250 in gifts to the CBE Professional and Career Readiness Program will be matched dollar for dollar by generous faculty and staff of the college to provide important resources to help College of Business and Economics students successfully launch their careers!
- A percentage of every gift will be matched through WWU's Give Day Challenge Pool fund.
- Does your employer match gifts to a university? If so, then your employer may be able to match a portion of your donation.
