Thank You For an Amazing 7th Annual WWU Give Day!


Many donations were made to our special matching challenges like the Western Welcome scholarship and had their donation doubled or more and all other donations still received an additional 8.8% boost from our general matching pool!

If you were a part of the amazing effort last year to provide support to students across all areas of WWU, thank you! Thank you, as well, for lending your support again this year. 

If this was your first give day, thank you for joining us, you are part of the reason this give day was our biggest ever! WWU Give Day is the most momentous day of philanthropy each year for Western students and creates a wave of impact felt by every club, team, program, and department at WWU and this year was extremely impressive, with donors like you coming together to give over a million dollars towards student success in all forms across every area of campus and beyond.

This year we are focused on raising funds for the Western Welcome Scholarship. This scholarship improves access for students who, while qualified to attend Western, might not apply or accept an offer of admission due to the funding gap that exists between a WWU financial aid package and the typical cost to attend. Gifts given to the Western Welcome Scholarship will be matched dollar-for-dollar while funds last, so gifts here have great impact!
