Learning Environment Action Discovery (LEAD)
LEAD provides experiential
community engagement opportunities for students to apply environmental knowledge outside the classroom. We strive to improve environmental conditions necessary for ecosystem stability, biological diversity and abundance. We achieve this through communal collaboration, hands-on experience and through work parties hosted every week and weekend at various locations around Western's campus and Bellingham.
Your support during Give Day will help the LEAD team purchase additional tools, acquire necessary supplies, and enhance our ability to provide service-learning opportunities that lead to environmental restoration and protection for native plant species.
