Education Leadership

The Education Leadership Program seeks to prepare the next generation of leaders in education, from principals to superintendents by:

  • Developing leaders prepared to meet the needs of inclusive and equitable school systems
  • Preparing administrators with the skills necessary to support students, teachers, and families in reaching their full potential
  • Creating a generation of school leaders committed to working in partnership with communities and families

Please take a moment to watch the video from one of our recent students, who further explains how these goals become reality.

Your support matters:

It's no secret that pursuing an advanced degree or certificate can put a strain on a candidate's budget.  Our aim is to create a financial resource through the Western Foundation that will help continue Western's tradition of selecting and preparing truly extraordinary candidates for school leadership.

Your gift will be used to help those who aspire to school leadership roles with costs such as:

  • books
  • materials
  • tuition
  • professional development opportunities

Please help us support and educate our MEd, Certificate and Doctoral students so they can make a difference!
