Woodring Hardship Scholarships
Support the Retention of Highly-Qualified Teachers and Human Services Professionals

We are raising funds to support Woodring students in completing their programs. Your donations will go to the next generation of teachers, principals, paraeducators, nurses, counselors, and human services professionals.

Your support for our college has been unwavering throughout the pandemic. Scholarships, financial support for programs, and partnerships with alumni have been bright spots. Recent graduates Ali Haji and Rory Peterson committed to endow the Ruth S. Cox Memorial Scholarship in honor of Ruth's belief in the importance of teachers in our communities and their shared desire to reduce the financial burden earning a degree presents to many students.

When you give to the Woodring College of Education, you are supporting Western students who are committed to shaping a better world.

Today, let’s give our students a story of hope and encouragement — a story they will never forget — one that holds the promise of a Western education and a bright future.

Please join us in this vision by making a donation to Woodring Scholarships! Thank you.
