With a challenging winter dodging Covid obstacles and dealing with a drier than usual snow season, we are excited to continue this club to next season. Bringing more hype and hoping to have a bigger scene in the competitions. Providing students with a place to meet new people who share the love for the snow is the end-all goal. Surprisingly enough, the biggest challenge in all this is not ripping down steep chutes, flying off huge cliffs, or spinning and flipping at the bottom of the run, the real challenge is scraping together funds to cover the additional travel costs and competition dues on top of the costs of an already expensive sport.
That's where you come in! During this event every dollar donated to this fundraiser will go straight into the team's account. The university will also be matching a certain percentage of donations, so this is a wonderful opportunity to help the Western Freeride Team grow into something amazing. Your donations help our competitors focus on their skills on the mountain, instead of worrying about if they will be able to afford to enter in that next competition.
