WWU Women's Lacrosse is a self-coached and player-managed club team in the Women's Club Lacrosse Association (WCLA). As a club team, most funds come out of our own pockets as students or from fundraising efforts, which is why we are seeking your financial support.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic these past few years, the in-person fundraising and planning were more limited than we expected. We are in need of new lacrosse balls, scholarships for athletes who are struggling financially, and miscellaneous equipment for players that don't have their own. As a club, we try to cover as much of this as we can so that our players don't have to pay out of their own pockets, allowing more people to enjoy the sport we all love passionately. Additional funds allow us to continue to grow our sport and alleviate the financial stress for student-athletes so that is never a reason someone decides not to play.
