WWU Give Day 2022

Generation Action provides a platform to talk about reproductive justice and Planned Parenthood in the news as well as in our communities and daily lives. PPGen does outreach in the community in the form of sexual health education and activism, acting as a resource for students to learn about Planned Parenthood and its services. It is part of the Planned Parenthood Action Network (PPAN), a protective advocacy and service initiative to expand and secure reproductive justice for future generations. Our club is open to all marginalized gender identities.

We have been engaged in so many meaningful activities and events this school year. Events like our endometriosis awareness meetings and our collaboration with the SHAG's shared educational materials. Other meetings were focused on community and connection, like our clothing swap and letters to abortion providers event. 

We also focused our efforts on our Period Product Fundraiser in February where we raised over $900 in donations. This money was used to purchase period products for DVSAS and Lydia's Place. 

Next year we will focus our efforts on a new campaign, medicated abortion care access on campus. We will need your help to maintain this mission! If you believe in abortion care access help us organize around this issue.
