Western Washington University Men’s Rowing is a fast growing program. We were brought down from varsity to club back in 2006, but this hasn’t stopped us from competing on a national level. We’ve continued to flourish as a team competitively, financially, and in population over the last decade. As a completely self-funded team, we rely on fundraisers and donations to operate and grow. With these funds we pay for things like races, travel expenses, equipment, uniforms, and a committed coaching staff. We have come back strong after the COVID-19 pandemic, adding 20+ new rowers to our roster. Our team found massive success at the National Championships in Tennessee this year. With our Novice 4+ placing first in the nation, and our varsity 4+ placing third in the nation. This team has lots of potential next year, and we will continue to grow. If you want to help students experience the joy of competition and community, please consider donating to Western Washington University Men’s Rowing.
