Hello Viking Rowing Friends and Family!
I sincerely hope that you are happy, healthy, and excited for the 2022 NCAA Championships. While the last two years have been a challenge, 2022 was quite the turnaround and a year to truly celebrate!
The team has been going strong this season with wins in the Varsity 8+ at WIRA and the GNAC Championships, a hard-fought race in the 4+ put the team on top as the 2022 GNAC Champions. This group of athletes have taken every obstacle in stride and have found strength through adversity. After all the stops and starts of training; after all the dark clouds of Covid looming overhead; the 2022 Rowing team is in Sarasota, FL making a run for the NCAA National Championship.
But make no mistake, we know that all our success in 2022 happened as we stood on the shoulders of not only those who came before us, but those who continued to show their support during a trying time for us all. We could not have achieved all that we did without our Viking Family!
So, we come to you on this Give Day to ask for your support in two different ways:

- If you feel so inclined, please donate to our program so we can maintain the level of excellence on the water and in the student-athlete experience that has been a staple at WWU.
It is you – our family, friends, alumni, and supporters – who make this opportunity different, unique, and memorable. Thank you for always being there for our student-athletes and our program! We appreciate you more than words can say.
