The Impact of Your Support
Starting in Fall 2022, an exciting new “professional and career readiness” program will become a required component of the curriculum for MIS students. As part of this new program, students will need to participate in professional development activities outside of the classroom. Your support will enable us to provide professional development opportunities for our MIS students including student-industry networking events, a MIS alumni panel, and visits with industry leaders.
Why We Need Your Support
We must rely on donations to provide extracurricular activities to enhance the professional and career development of our MIS students. Your support will be especially important during this time as the university budget has been constrained in recent years due to the pandemic.
Our Goal
For this year’s WWU Give Day we request your support to fund our “professional and career readiness” initiatives for the upcoming academic year. Our goal is to raise $2,500. Donations of any size are welcome and appreciated!
Donation Matching
All donations made during this year's WWU Give Day will be matched in some way:
Thank you for your support -- your gift will make a difference to our students!
MIS at WWU
The Management Information Systems (MIS) program continues to thrive -- even during the recent pandemic. To prepare our students for their careers, our program provides a solid foundation of concepts and skills, combined with hands-on assignments and projects. The classwork is supplemented with extracurricular opportunities to promote "professional and career readiness."
