Mission: The Sustainability Engagement Institute develops educational opportunities and systems-change for a more sustainable, just future. We engage in initiatives that create economic vitality, promote well-being, protect the environment, and uphold social justice. We support sustainability work in the classroom, across campus departments and offices, and in the broader community through a variety of educational, co-curricular, and organizational programs.
What we do:
Offer academic programs for both students and faculty to build sustainability knowledge
Work with campus stakeholders to implement and report on the university's sustainability progress
Manage programs that advance sustainable practices in campus labs and office spaces
Host events on campus and in the broader region, connecting people with sustainability and community in real time
Bring locally grown, sustainable produce to the campus community
