For over twenty years, the Western Christian Faculty Forum has focused our attention on reaching the Christian professors, staff, and students on campus.
More than ever, our universities need the Christian community to step up and take leadership. In an address given at the dedication ceremonies of the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College in 1980, Charles Malik, the former Christian President of the United Nations, spoke out on the need for Christians to reach the universities. In his words, “If Christians do not care for the intellectual health of their own children and for the fate of their own civilization, a health and a fate so inextricably bound up with the state of the mind and spirit in the universities, who is going to care?”
Western’s Give Day allows people to contribute a tax-deductible gift to the WCFF. Every penny you give goes directly to its work. As a Faculty Fellow with Faculty Commons, the faculty ministry of CRU (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ), Dr. Geraldine E. Forsberg is working to bring the hope of Jesus Christ to our WWU campus and universities worldwide. In addition, other professors are actively involved in reaching the campus through prayer and discipleship.
