WWU DECA is a competitive business club in which students participate in professional development, practice leadership skills, and network with business professionals through connections with local to broader levels. These connections provide DECA members with realistic insight into the industry and promote meaningful, relevant learning. We also have the opportunity to focus on specific parts of businesses and compete at the State and International levels.
DECA needs your help to grow as well as send students to the International Career Development Conference, next year in April. This experience helps challenge students to think critically, practice their presentation skills, and grow their knowledge of the world by putting these skills to the test.
Our previous DECA president Ayla said, "The confidence and skills I have to network with professionals inside and outside of my career field have been finely tuned during my time with the organization. I know the problem-solving and decision-making skills I cultivated with my peers in DECA will serve me for the rest of my life."
