Nancy Bluestein-Johnson Peninsulas Scholarship

We are so excited to be honoring Nancy Bluestein-Johnson, an instrumental member of Western on the Peninsulas, by raising funds for a scholarship in her name!  For the past 15 years she has made a huge impact by championing the College of the Environment on the Peninsulas and connecting students to degrees in Environmental Science and Studies. Students now embark on environment-related careers thanks to the energy and dedication that Nancy has brought to environmental learning in the Peninsulas.

This scholarship will specifically support students transferring from regional community colleges to the College of the Environment on the Peninsulas. Often, students are financially stressed as they transition between two institutions. With an endowed scholarship, students would benefit from annual scholarships to mitigate costs associated with entering College of the Environment on the Peninsulas. In order to reach an endowed scholarship, we must raise $25,000!  With your help, we can do it.

Gifts of all sizes really make a difference. Please also consider sharing this link on your social media to spread the word about an amazing scholarship and honoring a faculty member that has dedicated so much time and passion to the College of the Environment on the Peninsulas.

Thank you!
