Western Urban Planners

The Western Urban Planners Club (WUP) is a student-led organization at WWU's Urban and Environmental Planning and Policy Department. We are open to anyone interested in cities, planning, urban studies, or related topics! Notably, the club maintains strong connections with both the American Planning Association's (APA) Washington Chapter and APA National, creating opportunities for members to attend conferences and engage with the planning profession. In our day-to-day, we host guest speakers, organize events, and support professional development, but just as importantly, we have fun together. We believe planning should be a highly collaborative field, and we bring that energy into what we do as a club!
