Education that stays local

WWU Peninsulas is built for our region. We serve working adults, transfer students, and place-bound learners who are ready to advance their careers without leaving the communities they call home.

Your support helps remove barriers, expand access, and ensure students can complete their degrees close to home and learn where they live.

We are looking for 1,000 community members to give $10 or more to support our students. Be one of our 1,000.

Other ways to support WWU Peninsulas

We recognize that financial giving is not always in the budget for already hard-hit families in this region. There are many other ways you can help keep our students going. 

• Donate to our on-campus food pantry: Many students are facing food and supply insecurity. With your donation of non-perishable foods, hygiene items, and basic supplies, we can help relieve at least one stressor in their lives.
• Clean out your closet: At our Poulsbo campus, we host a Career Closet, stocked with professional wear that students can take for career fairs, job interviews, internships, and more. More donations to our Career Closet increases the sizes, styles, and offerings for our students. 
• Offer internships and entry-level jobs at your business or organization. Can you take on a student intern for a quarter? Are you looking for employees who are well-prepared for the workforce? Contact us directly about opportunities you can provide so that students can make an immediate impact in our community.
• Provide tuition assistance or reimbursement to your employees. Re-investing in our community and future is all of our responsibility. Supporting your employees through their academic journey boosts them and WWU Peninsulas.
