At the Academy for Lifelong Learning (ALL),
we believe that curiosity doesn’t retire—and learning should never have an expiration date.
ALL offers short, college-level courses, excursions, discussion groups, and thought-provoking lectures designed for adults of all ages and backgrounds. With no tests, homework, or prerequisites, our programs invite anyone with a curious mind to engage, explore, and grow in a welcoming, intellectually rich community.
Our mission is to make high-quality, accessible education available beyond traditional classrooms. From history and science to the arts and global affairs, ALL empowers individuals to stay curious, connected, and inspired through lifelong learning.
Why Your Gift Matters
ALL is a volunteer-led, self-sustaining organization affiliated with Western Washington University's Outreach and Continuing Education. While we strive to keep courses and excursions affordable, in the longer term our program will depend on your generosity. To assure that ALL remains strong well into the future, a key strategy has been the establishment of an Endowment Fund, to which 50-plus Founding Patrons have generously contributed. In the three years since its establishment, the fund is well on its way. Upon meeting its goal, ALL’s endowment will provide ALL with a consistent annual dividend to supplement regular income, so our programs can flourish for decades, as it continues to support expenses such as
- Instructor stipends
- Venue rental and meeting space
- Class and program support
- Community outreach
