The WWU Marine and Coastal Science (MACS) program is now in its sixth year and just welcomed a brand-new group of enthusiastic, budding marine scientists.
Thanks to generous support from donors who believe new scientists can make a difference, the MACS program is changing lives, making discoveries about long-term marine problems, and building skills in the next generation of marine scientists. To learn about some of our students who are, indeed, making waves, check out these stories about Gathering Ghost Gear and the Secret Lives of Harbor Porpoises.
You can support other next-generation marine scientists along their career path through a Give Day donation. Your gift will make a difference.
This year, all donations to the Marine and Coastal Science Program will be matched up to $8,000!
