Our students are doing amazing research. Your donations allow them to attend academic conferences, present their research, receive feedback, and continue putting Western on the map as the best place for undergraduate linguistics!
We want our students to be wholeheartedly focused on their learning, not worrying about how they’ll pay for college or whether they’ll be faced with the burden of academic debt, which is why, because of your donations, we were able to award 9 students nearly $10,000 in undergraduate scholarships last year alone.
Donations from our generous donors helped to support linguistics and Spanish double major Lucy Wells participate in our summer 2025 study abroad program “Ireland: History, Language, Power.”
