Make Waves with the Moss Adams Student Success Ctr
Support CBE Students by giving to the Student Success Center

Our Goal

$14,000

Anonymous donors will match the first $7,000 raised for Moss Adams Student Success Center

Your gift amount will double the impact.

Our foundational goals:

The Moss Adams Student Success Center’s (SSC) is a unique student hub in Parks Hall with the goals to build community, create belonging, and advancing professional development.

We recently asked students, how we are doing, here's what they had to say:

"The SSC provides a safe and inclusive space that fosters an environment where the Western community can engage outside of the classroom."

"The welcoming space brings in students from across the university and builds connections. The SSC’s supportive environment is why I have seen it grow in popularity over the past two years.”

"The SSC is without a doubt one of my favorite places in Parks Hall, and easily the thing that ties our community together."

"It is a space for students to gather to socialize, work, and collaborate, or whatever. The SSC is a precious part of CBE in building my sense of community."

"Through mentorship, workshops, or academic support, the SSC has significantly improved my days, quarters, and overall CBE student experience.”

My, how we have grown:

The Moss Adams Student Success Center was originally established to support students social, emotional, and professional needs, however, as we engaged with more students we heard stories about the lack of resource for food, professional clothing, and opportunities to “connect with people like me." So, we have grown to meet the need. With over 100 students visiting the SSC daily. We now offer…

               Career Closet (Professional Attire)

  • Professional Headshots and LinkedIn profile reviews
  • We expanded our student club support to 10, with 2 new or revitalized clubs this past year, including the Professional Women’s Association, Out in Business, and the Discovery of Entrepreneurship.
  • Mentor student clubs’ leaders collaboration including the CBE Gala and Student Club Fair.
  • A textbook lending library
  • A one stop shop for students to access campus resources and CBE Communication Center
  • Collaborative Workspace with technology
  • Finals Week Support – food & relaxation tools
  • Food Pantry
  • Tea and coffee station with microwave & refrigerator
  • Peer Leadership-Student Senators weekly office hours
  • Support the of the Scholarship Fair, various Career Fairs, meet your Advisors Event, Improv Trainings,  Admitted Students Day, First Gen Celebration, the Veteran’s Lunch, and much, much more.

How your Support will help us grow to better serve students.

All monies raised will directly impact students’ lives and needs as they grow and transition into their professional careers. Our top priorities are and will continue to be meeting students' needs, wherever they are in their lives. Including the support for:

  • Programming events to help students develop their soft skills and grow as professionals,
  • Creating a warm, welcoming, and inviting space for students to collaborate,
  • Expanding our food pantry items to include more healthy choices for students facing food insecurity.
  • Hiring and training student leaders and mentors to provide direct one-on-one student support.
  • Expand our supports to first-gen and underrepresented students.
Please join us in supporting the Moss Adams Student Success Center...your support is needed more now than ever. As one student recently shared:

The Moss Adams Student Success Center is a welcoming environment, with great positive energy, and valuable conversations with students and faculty. The SSC is always my first stop in the morning!”
