The Western Welcome Scholarship improves access for students who, while qualified to attend Western, might not apply or accept an offer of admission due to the funding gap that exists between a WWU financial aid package and the typical cost to attend Western. This scholarship addresses WWU’s commitment to increasing access to higher education to historically underrepresented students, including those who are the first in their family to attend college.
While dozens of programs across Western rely on generous donors like you on Give Day, please consider supporting the Western Welcome Scholarship. Last year, donors provided over $600,000 of Western Welcome Scholarships, which is one of the key reasons students continue to choose Western.
