Funding Priorities
This year, we have defined exciting initiatives that will help our students, faculty, and programs. Please donate today to advance the following opportunities for "MSCM & Operations" at WWU:

Merit-based Scholarships – GOAL: $15,000
In 2022, the MSCM/Ops program gave over $40,000 of scholarship support and there were still more students to be supported. Scholarships provide necessary funding for students to complete their degree with low or no loan debt. Thanks to Give Day 2022, the department increased their awards and provided more scholarships for diversity and MSCM/OPS majors. Support MSCM/OPS students to assist in their education and managing the challenges from the pandemic. These scholarships will continue our tradition of rewarding hard work and providing a way for excellent students to excel in their degrees and careers. We are seeking $15,000 for merit-based scholarships.

Diversity Scholarships - GOAL: $6,000
Continue our assistance to diverse students in financing their education and allowing them the time and help to succeed in their academic efforts. We hope to obtain $6,000 for diversity scholarship funds.
ASCM Student Chapter/ProDev Committee – GOAL: $15,000
We have always had a dedicated and highly professional student chapter that organizes speakers, workshops, social events, volunteer activities, professional development dinners, and attendance at the ASCM Connect Annual Meeting & World Congress from Monday, September 11 to Wednesday, September 13, 2023 in Louisville, Kentucky. Please give to expand our student engagement and achieve our goal.
Mentoring and Outreach – GOAL: $4,000
Your funds will support our ongoing mentoring program and allow us to connect with current and potential first-generation students – Our goal of $4,000 allows us to support an MSCM student to serve as a Mentoring Coordinator for our programs.
Alumni Engagement Events – GOAL: $2,000
Help our students and faculty develop and maintain connections with alumni through social and professional events in the greater Seattle area. Give today to achieve our goal.
Case Competitions – GOAL: $5,000
In the past, we have conducted case competitions with Boeing, Microsoft, and Starbucks. In November 2022, the WWU team won First Place in the Boeing Case Competition. We need $5,000 to conduct and expand the opportunities for student teams to compete and solve actual supply chain problems.
Certification Examinations – GOAL: $3,000
Increasing the qualifications of our students through professional certifications, like the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), are critical to their careers. We have arranged for an elearning program to ensure student success in passing the CAPM.
Help us achieve these goals by contributing today!! Thank you for all your tremendous support in the past and now, for the future!!
