Pure Water for the World is an amazing 501(c)(3) cooperation that "partners with rural and underserved communities, where there are high incidences of waterborne diseases and a scarcity of aid. Together, they establish comprehensive safe water solutions that include the essential tools and education to serve all community members." They do this by working with the community to address their needs and create a personalized solution to promote better health and economic stability. This includes water technologies, education and training programs, sustainability measures, and sanitation technologies. Find out more here:

The Betania School currently has 55 students and inoperative latrines. On top of that, they do not have adequate access to a handwashing station. PWW has been asked to help support this school in establishing a latrine and handwashing station, as well as hygiene education for students and teachers. The WASH station will include gender-specific latrines, a handwashing station, and double pits to ensure longevity. On top of that, the school will be educated on personal and menstrual hygiene practices and PWW will continue to monitor the success of this project for a minimum of three years to ensure proper and safe implementation.
