Join in supporting Western Washington University’s Accounting Department. As we plan for the future, we are looking for support to fund mentoring and retention programs, merit-based scholarships, an increase in our data analytics offerings, and add more global opportunities for our current and future Accounting Majors. 

Retention and Mentorship in the Accounting Program: 

• Writing and Communications, – Support will help fund Writing in the Curriculum Program Coordinator and Presentation Tutor so that all Accounting students have access to expertise in both writing and communications skills. 
• Mentoring and Outreach - Your funds will also support our ongoing efforts in mentorship and reaching current and potential first generation students. 

Merit-based scholarships – Please help to continue our tradition of rewarding hard work and providing a route for many excellent students to flourish in an accounting career by supporting scholarship opportunities for both our undergraduates and masters of Accounting students.

Data Analytics Support - Support for an adjunct instructor to strengthen and increase the Accounting Information Systems course offerings and guide students on new technologies being adopted by accountants such as Alteryx, PowerBI, and Tableau. 

International focus – Support for international students in the accounting major, and for students studying overseas. Hopefully, the international summer study course will resume soon with a focus on Asia.
