The Impact of Your Support
Your support will enable us to provide professional development opportunities for our MIS students as we move beyond the pandemic. Examples of past activities include a MIS alumni panel, an interactive panel focusing on internships, visits with industry leaders, and engagement with industry organizations.
Why We Need Your Support
We must rely on donations to provide extracurricular activities to enhance the professional development of our MIS students. Your support will be especially important during the upcoming year as funding will be a challenge due to the recent pandemic situation.
Our Goal
For this year’s WWU Give Day we request your support to fund our “professional readiness” initiatives for the upcoming academic year. Our goal is to raise $2,000. Donations of any size are welcome and appreciated!
Donation Matching
All donations made during this year’s WWU Give Day will be matched in some way:
- The first $250 in gifts to the MIS program will be matched dollar for dollar by one of our program's supporters (up to $50 per donor).
- A percentage of every gift will be matched through WWU’s Give Day Challenge Pool fund.
- The first 400 students and recent grads ('18, '19, '20, '21) who give $10 or more will receive a bonus $25 match to help leverage their giving power (thanks to the generosity of Dave Mann and Ann Thomson Mann).
- Does your employer match gifts made to a university? If so, then your employer may be able to match a portion of your donation.

The Management Information Systems (MIS) program at Western Washington University (WWU) is thriving. To prepare our students for their careers, our program provides a solid foundation of concepts and skills, combined with hands-on assignments and projects. The classwork is supplemented with extracurricular opportunities to promote "professional readiness."
