Norma Hall-Alice Stout Memorial Endowment

The scholarship endowment has been funded with an estate gift from Norma E. Hall, a 1949 graduate of the Western Washington College of Education and a vocalist in the Music Department.

A legacy of singing

Norma wanted to leave her entire estate to Western for student scholarships because of her own positive experiences as a music scholar and choir member at Western and because of her desire to help reduce college debt for students.

Norma passed away in Mount Vernon last June at the age of 91.
