Special Education & Education Leadership

In the Special Education Program we work to develop teachers that:

Build an inclusive society
Help others succeed
Make a difference in the lives of children
Develop effective skills for working with persons with disabilities and children at-risk
Effectively and compassionately teach students ages 3 – 21 in special education
Be a professional in agencies or community organizations that promote social justice

The Educational Administration Program seeks to prepare the next generation of leaders in education, from principals to superintendents.

Our aim is to create a financial resource through the Western Foundation that will help continue Western’s tradition of selecting and preparing truly extraordinary candidates for school leadership.
