WWU Equestrian Team

Support the WWU Equestrian Team Today!

We are a student-lead sports club team that combines sports competition and a love of
horses to provide undergraduate students the opportunity to enjoy the
equestrian experience even while being a full-time student.

Over the past year our 25 team members have dedicated hours each week to riding and practicing with the help of our two amazing coaches.  Not only did we spend time riding but we also got the opportunity to gain an average of 10 volunteer hours (per number!!) with many different organizations around what com county.

We started out our year with many fresh faces as most of our members graduated last year. But that did not stop this powerhouse team! This year our team brought home multiple high point (most points overall) and reserve high point (second place overall) ribbons as well as a couple reserve high point rider ribbons won by freshman Emma Palludan!  This year we had one rider, senior Allyson Roberts qualify for the western national semi-finals! Although our season was cut short by the virus we are so thankful for the opportunities we had this year to get to know each other and have a great time.   Your contribution to our team gives our members (college students) a chance to continue riding horses at an affordable cost.  We appreciate everyone who supports our team and look forward to the future we have as a growing team.

Go Viks!!
