About Us:

Western Washington University is a recognized leader in the field of sustainability. WWU offers sustainability-oriented courses in all of its colleges and released its Sustainability Action Plan in 2017 to provide the pathway to create a more just, equitable university.

The Office of Sustainability helps students understand and implement sustainability in their lives and around campus. Our programs encourage protecting the ecosystem, upholding social equity, create economic vitality, and promoting human health through renewable energy use, waste reduction, and increased accessibility for all members of our community.
