*UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT SUPPORT*

The Wolpow Institute aims to support students in the Holocaust and Genocide Studies minor through permanent scholarships that defray the cost of their education at WWU or abroad. We also seek funding to promote student research and to create internship opportunities.

*NOÉMI BAN SPEAKER SERIES*

In honor of the life and legacy of local Holocaust survivor and educator Noémi Ban (1922-2019), we are raising permanent funds to provide exceptional scholarly and educational programming through public lectures and performances. If you or your family would like to endow the speaker series in memory of Noémi Ban, please contact Dr. Sandra Alfers (Director, Wolpow Institute).

*UNIVERSITY & COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS*

Building and strengthening partnerships with regional and national organizations to offer quality public programming and professional development opportunities - for our campus community and beyond. - is another institute priority. Most recently, we have partnered with Northwestern University, the Holocaust Center for Humanity in Seattle, Echoes & Reflections, and Congregation Beth Israel.

*FACULTY SUPPORT*

The Wolpow Institute aims to provide funding opportunities for WWU faculty teaching in the new Holocaust & Genocide Studies minor to support their teaching and scholarly activities for the benefit of their students.
