About

The Engineering & Design Department, in the College of Science and Engineering offers students five Bachelor of Science degrees: Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plastics & Composites Engineering, Industrial Design, and Industrial Technology – Vehicle Design.  These programs place an emphasis on practical laboratory experiences, in addition to theoretical course work. Each program’s curriculum is designed with input from strong industrial advisory committees to prepare students for professional positions in industry.

• Engineering & Design Department Fund –  General funding for departmental equipment, support funds for installation of donated equipment, student travel and field trips, faculty development, and departmental outreach materials and activities.

• Scholarship Funds - Help offset the cost of tuition and fees for students by contributing to specific scholarships in our department. 
• Equipment Endowment Fund - Help fund the Department’s Equipment Endowment to a level sufficient to provide a predictable funding stream for the purchase, upgrade, and replacement of equipment that is so important to the success of our academic programs.  Supporting this fund also helps to reduce lab fees for students.
