Bellingham Order of the Saber
Welcome to the Order

Who Are We?

We are Bellingham Order of the Saber, a WWU Associated Students club whose purpose is to bring people together who share a common interest in Lightsabers and Star Wars. We are proud to welcome anyone into our club regardless of age, race, sexuality, religion, and political views. This club is dedicated as a place for members to come out of their shells. A fair number of people in the WWU community suffer from anxiety, depression, or another form of mental illness. There are many different ways to deal with mental illness; in our club, we use Star Wars as a way for people to gain the confidence to come out of their shells.

What Do We Do?

We put on lightsaber events every month where students, community members, and children are welcome to participate in a variety of games using lightsabers. These games include, but not limited to capture the flag, team deathmatch, free for all, and Jedi vs Sith. We lend out around 40 lightsabers to anyone who does not own their own. Additionally, we hold two club meetings on campus where we talk about upcoming events and anything Star Wars related.

Why Donate?

We recently became an official WWU Club and really strive to have the financial stability to provide an amazing experience to all of our current and future members. Your donation, whatever the amount will go a long way in helping us achieve our goals.
