Founded in 2006 by Dr. Lorraine Kasprisin and edited by an interdisciplinary group of WWU professors, the Journal of Education Controversy (JEC) examines the many controversies surrounding education in our society and societies around the world. For each edition, the editors pose a new dilemma related to education and call for response papers from readers across multiple disciplines. Their newest volume will focus on "The Ethics of Memory: What Does it Mean to Apologize for Historical Wrongs?"
