The WWU Cheer team is an essential part of the Viking athletic department. Their presence at Western home and away games heightens the fan and athlete experience for all of those involved. The Cheer team supports men’s soccer, women’s soccer, volleyball, women’s basketball and men’s basketball.
Impact
Gifts to support the WWU Cheer Campaign will help to maintain our success and hopefully grow our program – giving students who have a background in cheer, dance and gymnastics an opportunity to participate in a collegiate experience like WWU Cheer. 50% of your gift will go to sponsor an individual cheer athlete, the other 50% will provide essential programmatic support. With your help, we will be able to fund cheer camp, game-day uniforms, practice gear and new equipment like Cheer mats.
