WWU Women's Lacrosse is a self-coached and player-managed club team in the Women's Club Lacrosse Association (WCLA). As a club team, most funds come out of our own pockets as students or from fundraising efforts, which is why we are seeking your financial support.
As a busy college team, we spend many weekends during the season on the road. We attend a tournament in Santa Barbara, California every February, as well as game weekends at other schools. Our club has many costs such as hotels, rental cars, gas, tournament, and league fees. As a club we try to cover as much of this as we can so that our players don't have to pay out of their own pockets, allowing more people to enjoy the sport we all love.
