The Music Department at Western is centered around a community of collaboration and support where all are welcome and encouraged to learn, explore and create in a positive nurturing environment.

 

Moore than a music school

 

Our community enjoys more than 60 free concerts and recitals each year. Our students have toured operas and orchestras to schools and libraries around our region. We perform for over 1000 K-8 students in weekday matinees every spring.

  • Instructors to teach Composition and Aural Skills courses
  • Up-to-date materials and resources for the Music Library
  • Student retreats and networking events
