Art and Art History Department
Thinking artists and artistic thinkers shaping culture in the 21st century

The Department of Art and Art History offers students compelling opportunities like lectures and visits by artists and scholars, participation in academic conferences, hands-on workshops in the Western Gallery, assistantships, the enhanced studio art degree, student-run galleries, and invaluable study abroad courses.

Global Study

Through rigorous studio practice and global visual arts courses, students gain knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities that prepare them for success after graduation.

This Give Day, we're raising money for travel scholarships to establish at least one scholarship of $1000 each to help underprivileged, high-achieving students be able to study abroad - an invaluable, high-impact learning experience!
