Brent Golden was an inspirational teammate and friend to the WWU Track and Field/X Country athletes of the late 70's and 80's. He left us far too early, and for many years we have shared our memories of him with each other to keep his spirit alive.
We would like to establish a lasting tribute to Brent in support of the hard-working and talented track and field athletes at Western today.
Please join us with a gift to the Brent Golden Memorial Scholarship. Our goal is to raise at least $2,000 per year which will provide a scholarship in that amount to a Track and Field Athlete. If we raise $25,000 over the next five years, we can endow the scholarship to make it a permanent fund which will grow over time and provide a scholarship aware in perpetuity.
