Thank you! Gifts to the Ingrid Stahlbrand Kassler Memorial Scholarship were matched 1:1 (up to $5,000 per donor). This scholarship was established in honor of the beloved German professor Ingrid Stahlbrand Kassler to help students who share Ingrid's love of foreign languages pursue their studies.

Thank you! Gifts to the John and Marilyn Warner Woodring College of Education Scholarship for minority students preparing for teacher education were matched 1:1 by WWU Trustee John Warner and his wife Marilyn Warner (up to $5,000 per donor).

30% of EVERY gift made will be matched by one of our challenge pools (if they did not already receive matching funds from another challenge, up to $5,000 per donor). Challenge Pool dollars are allocated as a percentage: Total Matching Pool ÷ Total Give Day Donations = Match %. The first $5,000 in gifts from alumni to the Marion Van Nostrand Scholarship will be matched dollar for dollar by Kathy Kitto and Dennis Waller (up to $1,000 per donor). This full-tuition scholarship helps financially needy women and men who are single parents pursuing their degree in STEM. The Van Nostrand Scholars simply would not be able to afford their education and transform their trajectory without this scholarship.
