Who are we:

We are WWU water ski, one of the few collegiate teams left in the pacific north west, we are a tight knit community of all different levels who are just hereto have a good time and tear it up out on the water.

About Us:

Water ski team is all about having fun and getting better at this unique sport. We encourage people of all levels to come out and hang with us. Collegiate skiing focuses on developing skills and trying new things. Water skiing saw its hay-day in the 80s but is making a comeback in recent years thanks to collegiate teams like ours. We compete in the spring and fall against teams like Cal Polly, ASU, UCLA and many others. Fall of 2017 we took 2nd at the west coast regionals, and 9th at nationals in Baton Rouge Louisiana.  Competing in division 1 for the first time in over 25 years!

Impact:

Water skiing is a great sport; however, it is an expensive sport and much of the cost of travel for competitions comes out of pocket, this limits who can come to competitions. Donations mean that members can compete and have a great time while getting more tournament experience. Donations also mean we can get new team skis and equipment.
