We are the Western Washington Men's Lacrosse Club. We are part of the D2 PNCLL section of the MCLA. We have been a program since 2005 and have won 2 PNCLL titles in 2014 and 2015. We also made it to the MCLA National Title Final Four in 2015.
As a club program we consider ourselves to be a very competitive program trying to grow our image in the eyes of the school, PNCLL, MCLA and locally in Bellingham. With the growth of lacrosse making its way to the west, we try to play our part in spreading our influence throughout the PNW and Whatcom Community area. We love getting involved with the community, having practiced with local high school teams in the past as well helping with practices and clinics with the high school and youth programs. We are still trying to design opportunities to spread the game of lacrosse and make a stronger connection within our community and the communities connection to itself in the realm of lacrosse.
As part of the MCLA we are one of the cheapest (price wise) programs to be on. This is in part of great help we have had from our community. Making our program more financially reasonable, we are hoping to open up opportunities for players to join and continue to play and learn the game they love. Being 
competitive comes at a price (as for any sport). As a team trying to appeal to more and more players our equipment requires updating. Nets on the field are starting to tear which requires split-time fixtures, making them less and less appealing. The nature of the game also requires for us to continue to refill lacrosse balls to practice and play with (we are not perfect and miss the net and sometimes the fence as well). Part of increasing our competition, success and bringing up future competitors is strengthening our schedule. This is not always the easiest with how far away we have to travel in order to meet the competition. Helping raise money for our program will aid in our endeavors to do so. We also value being united as a team and creating core values to help bring individuals together. Showcasing this to our supporters can come in the form of mainly uniforms but with background efforts of team bonding (movies, gatherings, events). These uniforms need to be replaced one every couple of years and can start to add up. All of this is in efforts to become better role models for the local youth to look up to and aspire to become if not surpass in character and skill, brightening their own future. We are also hoping to attract future college students to Western Washington University as a whole.
