About Us:

The WWU Equestrian Team is a student-lead sports club team that combines sports competition and a love of horses to provide undergraduate students the opportunity to enjoy the equestrian experience even while being a full-time student.

We compete through the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association (IHSA).  The mission of IHSA is “that any college student should be able to participate in horse shows regardless of his or her financial status or riding level. Emphasis is on learning, sportsmanship, and fun. Competition plays a role but the students’ enthusiasm and team spirit are the major factors”

Impact:

Our team and IHSA are founded on the premise of being able to afford to ride in college. Your donations help us to keep riding accessible to all students, and allow us the opportunity to take lessons as well as travel to shows.
