Where can you find?
One of two US Department of Education funded Resource Centers on the study of the Canada-US relationship and the only one with an academic program of study with both a major and minor.
The only academic research institute in the U.S. that is dedicated exclusively to conducting applied, policy-relevant research on the Canada – U.S. border.
The only Institute that is developing a Salish Sea Studies minor that also works to advance protection and recovery actions for the Salish Sea.

Donations made to each of these fine programs will offset WWU student expenses for tuition or allow students to attend international conferences that focus on the economics and environment wellbeing of the Cascadia region of the US and Canada.

Border Policy Research Institute
Donations will pay for conference registration for the annual Pacific NW Economic Region conference held each year in the US or Canada and other regional events.
Salish Sea Institute
Donations will support experiential learning within the Salish Sea Studies introductory class.
