Environmental education takes place in formal classrooms, school grounds, nature centers, outdoor and environmental education programs, government agency programs, and community-based programs in non-profit organizations, businesses, faith communities, international conservation, and environmental-social justice movements. Our environmental education programs focus on the human relationship with nature, with special emphasis on non-profit leadership and northwest natural history. This professional residency program involves a close collaboration between Huxley College and the North Cascades Institute (NCI), and is about to welcome the 18th cohort of graduate students.
Support for the Master of Education in Environmental Education program provides much needed funding for students in the form of scholarships and student support services. Your contribution helps us achieve our goal of making the program as accessible and inclusive as possible. Thank you for supporting the environmental stewards of tomorrow!
