$40,000 IN MATCHING FUNDS AVAILABLE TO PROMOTE DIVERSITY IN PSYCHOLOGY!

The Prim scholarship is available to ethnic minority students who are Psychology or Behavioral Neuroscience majors and have a demonstrated financial need. Currently the Prim Scholarship awards a tuition gift of $1000 per year to the winning applicant. Our goal is to get the scholarship to award a full tuition gift of $8000 per year by getting the principal of the endowed fund to $200,000. We are nearly there and have secured a matching gift of $40,000 to take us across the finish line. That means every dollar you donate doubles not only your donation but the opportunity for a student of color with financial need at Western.  Help under-represented students realize the dream of making a difference in the lives of others by putting us over the top of the $200,000 goal.

Student Research and Travel Fund

In addition to the Prim Scholarship for inclusion in Psychology, you can also help Psychology students from all backgrounds launch their careers with a competitive edge through activities such as student-faculty research, the signature strength of our programs, presentation opportunities at professional conferences, scholars week and Psych Fest and provide support for scholarships.
